When I served at KCBI a year ago, I had the privilege of helping to organize Twila Paris’ concert at StoneBriar Church – Chuck Swindol’s congregation in Dallas.

I remember Twila at the meet-and-greet before her performance. She was a picture of calm, Godliness and grace… shaking hands with everyone and listening earnestly to every inane compliment her fans had to say to her. She even had a smile on her face! What struck me most about Twila was her humility and the complete lack of pride in her demeanor.

Here are the lyrics to one of my favorite songs that she wrote. Also a GREAT reminder that our God is in control in spite of feelings or circumstance. I hope this strengthens you in your journey as it did for me!
